Revived painted display cabinet

We have revived this display cabinet for our customer in Wrexham. The customer wanted the unit painted in a Matt Dimity colour paint by Farrow and Ball and the top in a medium oak coloured wax to match previous work we have done for them. We sanded the old dark tinted lacquer off and left dents and did not fill any holes in the wood so when we applied the paint they would stand out and give it a rustic look. We then waxed the top with a medium oak coloured wax and left some in the grooves of the top, this also give it a rustic look.
